Van Sciver Class of 1972 Reunion

The Van Sciver Class of 1972 held a reunion on Saturday, September 16th. Coming from across the country, class members received a tour of Van Sciver's new and improved spaces, and had lunch in the new multi-purpose room. Class member Ernie Springer remarked, " What tremendous improvements and expansion since we last saw it 45 years ago, a shining example of excellence in décor and initiative." We are glad that the Class of '72 had a great time at the reunion and is proud of Van Sciver both past and present!

Community Day Open House
Thanks to everyone who contributed to making our Community Day Open House a success! On Saturday, June 3, 2017, all district school buildings were open to visitors for guided and self-guided tours to celebrate the completion of our referendum projects. Thanks to our Haddon Township community members, new parents of incoming students, and alumni for visiting our new and improved spaces to help us celebrate this milestone!
Honor Society Hour of Code

Students from the Haddon Township High School Honor Society visited Stoy School to teach coding.  Through their lessons, students were exposed to different technologies to learn about writing instructions for a computer to follow.  The process of coding requires students to use persistence to refine sequential steps to solve problems.   Students sat together engaged in cooperative learning, problem solving, critical thinking, and processing skills.   It was inspiring to see students of such varied ages engaged in thinking and learning together.  We are so grateful to the high school students for their expertise and teaching today.

Haddon Township School District named to 7th Annual AP District Honor Roll!
